Industrial and road areas were combined here and the discharge into the sea was planned. As the increasing salinity in the Gulf due to the excessive use of seawater desalination plants is making it more and more difficult to extract drinking water from the seawater, this planning and implementation is intended to return the rainwater to the sea and thus restore the natural water cycle.

In other projects in the UAE, the water was then also stored temporarily in order to use it to irrigate the green areas; here, however, this solution was the preferred option due to the proximity to the Gulf.
