RENOVATION OF INNER-CITY THOROUGHFARE

As part of the renovation of a local thoroughfare in Ebersbach in the district of Göppingen, the drainage concept was redesigned in accordance with the planning specifications of the approval authority. The rainwater is to be pretreated before being discharged into a receiving watercourse. The quality of the 3P Hydroshark sedimentation system was chosen for the drainage of the 4,000 m² traffic areas, which are contaminated with sediment.

The rainwater is collected via street drains and routed to the sedimentation system via the underground pipe. The manhole was also fitted with the Hydroshark sedimentation unit in advance at the concrete plant and could therefore be delivered to the construction site ready for connection. This tried-and-tested “plug & play” system ensured extremely fast installation and problem-free integration into the planned drainage concept.

The rainwater cleaned by the sedimentation systems is subsequently discharged into a small receiving watercourse. In this way, the clean rainwater is returned to the natural water cycle and ensures the preservation and protection of our aquatic environment.
