FUNCTIONAL PRINCIPLE

The stormwater enters the system via the inlet pipe.

From there it flows into the hydrodynamic separator.

A radial flow regime is generated in the separator. Solids are separated downwards.

The solids are collected in a sludge trap under the system, which must be emptied at site-specific intervals.

The water flows upstream through a filter element.

The filter cartridge can be easily replaced.

The treated water is discharged into the stormwater drain or an infiltration system.

HYDROSYSTEM 400

THE SOLUTION FOR SMALL AREAS

The Hydrosystem 400 is the smallest version of the Hydrosystem 1.000.

It is made of plastic and has an internal diameter of 400 mm. It can be installed in a shaft or directly in the storage tank or a soakaway. Special mounting brackets are available for these cases.

A round filter cartridge forms the heart of the system. First, the water flows tangentially via a DN 100 pipe into a hydrodynamic separator. From there, it flows upstream via the central filter element into the drain. A DN 70 emergency overflow ensures that there is no backflow even in the event of heavy rainfall or a blocked filter.

So that the system can be maintained and cleaned by the operator, there is a sludge bucket under the filter that can simply be emptied into the household waste. The filter cartridge can be backwashed with the garden hose. This means that maintenance can be carried out without any problems, even without special knowledge or instruction.

The Hydrosystem 400 has Bavarian state approval for metal roof drains. Two different filter cartridges for copper and zinc roofs are available for this application.
